Torque Solution short throw shifter is a direct replacement for your long throw stock unit. No expense was spared in the production and design of this shifter. We chose CNC'd stainless steel due to the corrosion resistance / strength and tig welded in a precision jig.

Amazing short shifter but mine arrived with the threads messed up. I was able to clean and re-thread the 10x1.25 for it to fit any shift knob. Other then that, great product.. quality control can be a little better.

Overall the shifter feels great, it reduces the throw tremendously and feels much more solid. But I have had one issue. The reverse lockout pin broke off the shifter itself so I no longer have a reverse lockout. For me that’s not a huge deal I don’t normally slam gears all the way to 6th lol normally just to the top of forth. But just a heads up for others looking into this short shifter.

installed this shifter yesterday and the reduction in throw distance is insane. The movement requires more force just because you don't have the same leverage anymore but that's to be expected. What amazes me the most is the fact the H pattern feels like you have the old metal petal to force you in the gear. You have to try to miss a gear to miss one.

By far one of the best shifters for the 350Z or G35.  The reason it's so good is the 1 piece construction, that's why it has such a solid feel when shifting.  Pair that with tight tolerances gives you one of the best feeling shifters constructed for these cars.  The height reduction isn't much that you'll notice and the throw even though is shorter than stock isn't by much.  But those slight tweaks make for a functional and satisfying throw.
